Goals of the conference

The Fourth International Scientific Conference SPORTICOPEDIA SMB 2026 aims to bring together researchers, academics, and industry professionals to exchange knowledge and present the latest scientific and practical advancements in the fields of sport coaching, sport management, and sports media. The conference seeks to foster interdisciplinary dialogue, promote innovation, and encourage the application of contemporary technologies—particularly artificial intelligence—in sport science, business, and communication. Additionally, it aims to strengthen collaboration between academia and practice, contributing to the sustainable development of sport at both national and international levels.

Conference themes

The conference focuses on three core thematic areas:
- Sport Coaching: performance analytics, data-driven training, injury prevention, return-to-play strategies, motor learning, talent development, strength and conditioning innovations, and the application of artificial intelligence in coaching.
- Sport Management: digital transformation in sport organizations, sport marketing and fan engagement, economics and sustainability, governance and ethics, event management, and leadership in sport.
- Sports Journalism: digital media in sport communication, artificial intelligence in journalism, ethics and credibility in reporting, multimedia storytelling, and athlete branding.
