Dr. Simon Licen is Associate Professor in the Sport Management program at Washington State University. He studies mediated communication and sport in changing societies. Dr. Ličen completed visiting professorships at Beijing Sport University in China and University of Primorska in Slovenia. His professional experiences include stints as the director of communication for a WTA Tour tennis tournament and as correspondent for the website of the International Basketball Federation FIBA. He was also member of the Slovenian National Commission for UNESCO.
