Abstract
The application of physical activity for the prevention of many diseases is discussed on the basis of many facts, because physical activity itself prevents a large number of diseases. For the stated reason, this paper deals with the importance of the gym and its impact on society. The aim of this research is to examine the attitudes of users who use gym services. 56 male and 50 female respondents participated in the research. The obtained results indicate statistical significance as well as the positive effects of using gym equipment. In the first part of the paper, the historical development of the gym, the concept, the social and mental impact of the gym on man, the equipment of the gym according to the user’s opinion and based on the conducted research, then the research and discussion are defined. and conclusion. The authors of this research gave a further recommendation to fitness centers in order to improve their business.
